The train reaches Karmali station of North Goa by 2 PM, on the same day. The train runs three days a week (Saturday, Tuesday, and Thursday) between mid-June and October. During the rest of the months, the train runs for five days a week (no service on Monday and Thursdays). If you are choosing peak monsoon season, the train travel time will be slightly higher, as the train keeps up a slow speed.

The vistadome carriage has glass ceiling and large windows to enjoy the scenery as the train runs through the Konkan railway route. The train starts at 5:12 am from Mumbai and reaches Goa by 2:10 pm. It also stops for a few minutes at Thivim station of North Goa.
