With music in the air and like-minded people around you, ‘paradise’ will be an underrating adjective for Palace on Wheels vacation.
Our adventure started at New Delhi and take us through cities of Rajasthan to cover sam sand dunes, colorful culture, camel-focused lifestyle, marvelous pieces of architecture and the unparalleled hospitality. The tour ended with the grand finale of the marble mausoleum, Taj Mahal.
Onboard, the first impression of the cabin is the royal-contemporary nostalgic look. However, each element of the cabin starting from the embroidery work on my sheets to the wall hangings, each speck of decoration brought its connects with the land. The décor manages to incorporate heritage and historic elements into your vacation.
When it comes to India, there is something endearing about food. Throughout my vacation, I felt like food was their culture, medicine, hospitality, celebration, and expression.
