New Palace on Wheels Embarks on a New Journey with New Features
The Palace on Wheels is one of the best luxury trains in the world where guests are treated to kings & queens like experience alongside state-of-the-art facilities onboard. Guests visit best sightseeing spots and are given royal sumptuous meal onboard.
Now the RRoW or Royal Rajasthan on Wheels has newer interiors that give a more spacious and luxurious feel than earlier. The RTDC or Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation Management, on Saturday, unveiled the first look of refurbished Palace on Wheels. Featuring new look carriages with an addition – Resto-Bar with world- class ambience.
New Resto-Bar Addition in Renewed Palace on Wheels
The General Manager, Palace on Wheels, Pradeep Bohra give details about the new makeover. There are now two spacious Resto-Bars onboard, while the itinerary, tariff and blue color is retained as earlier, the interiors have got a new royal makeover. There are confirmed 1032 passenger bookings that are almost 50 percent of this season’s advance bookings.
Earlier the RRoW bookings were a lot lesser and due to the technical glitches of PoW, it prompted the RTDC & State Tourism management to covert the RRoW to PoW. The First Trip departs Wednesday, from New Delhi with 35 passengers onboard. PoW is likely to take another route to desert regions as approved by authorities. RTDC management is planning to ply it on the new route as it was rattling issues.
The Royal Rajasthan on Wheels is currently stationed parallel to the Palace on Wheels at the Bais Godam Railway Station.
