The Belmond Royal Scotsman is designed with rich interiors that reflect the Edwardian feel. One can stand and look from the observation deck while the train is moving. The comfortable suites in the train will look of Country House Weekend. The Royal Scotsman is stable and static at night.

The cabins of Royal Scotsman train is beautifully decorated with elegant fittings and rich marquetry. All the facilities are provided like hairdryers, dressing tables, bathrobes, private bathroom and shower, toilets which are of high quality, individual heating controls. The cabins are also provided with panoramic windows.

The beds in the comfortable cabins are provided with duvet, one foam pillow and one feather. There are a total of 4 single state cabins, 2 double and 14 twin cabins. All these cabins are designed to relax the wonderful atmosphere. The train will be stabled at nights, which can assure you a good night sleep.

Dining Onboard the Train

There are 2 dining cars which are decorated beautifully with rich luxurious fabrics and mahogany paneling. Lounge and Observation Car

This car is the social hub which is located next to the locomotive or at the rear end. The lounge car contains all the facilities like open-air observation platforms, coffee tables, sofas, armchairs, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, a bar serving coffee and tea which is great for photography. The bar provides 30 different varieties of Scottish whisky. The timetable, day’s activities and menus will be posted in the carriage vestibule.

Observation car provides elegance with panoramic windows, fresh flowers and potted palms. There will be always conversation and conviviality between the fellow passengers. The Observation Deck at the back of the car allows one to taste fresh air and uninterrupted views and is the only open Observation Deck in Europe.
